It was constructed to accommodate the increasing demand for electricity in Lagos and its surroundings and is frequently regarded as the largest single-generating power station in Black Africa.

Eligibility for the Egbin Power Students Industrial Training Program & Field of Study:

Students who are currently enrolled in Second Class Upper (2:1) or its equivalent are eligible to apply.
